ABOUT US

In January 1964 Jack Crum joined his brother Bob at Keith Riggs Plumbing. Bob Crum left Keith Riggs Plumbing and began his own company in May 1970. In 1971, Jack was given an offer he couldn’t refuse and a builder set him up to do the builders’ plumbing and Sunset Plumbing was born.

In April 1976 Bob and Jack merged their two companies and Bob Crum Plumbing was born.

In August 1979 Bob Crum Plumbing was Incorporated with Bob as President and Jack as Vice President, Barbara (Bob’s wife) as Secretary and Scarlett (Jack’s wife) as Treasurer.

For the next twenty years as construction was up and down and the plumbing business usually followed suit. Due to Bob and Jack’s good name and quality of work it was up most of the time. In 1999, nearing the age of 65 Bob made the decision to retire. Jack purchased Bob’s half of the business and the name was changed to Crum Plumbing Inc. in September of 2000. Jack took over as President, with his son, Cameron as Vice President, his other son Chris on the Board of Directors and Scarlett as Secretary/Treasurer.

In the 2000’s, with the construction industry exploding Crum Plumbing outgrew their current building that they had been in for the past 10 years. A new office and plumbing yard was built and finished in August of 2005 to meet their growing needs. Crum Plumbing Inc. is excited to be in a new home and looks forward to what the plumbing industry has in store for them.
